Verrucosa is a genus of New World orb-weaver spiders (family Araneidae)
Species
The genus Verrucosa contains about 50 described species. Most of them live in South America. One notable North American species is V. arenata, the Arrowhead spider.

Verrucosa furcifera (Keyserling, 1886) from Queensland, Australia was placed in this genus due to its strong outer similarity. However, it is considered misplaced.[2]
