Verónica Schneider Rodríguez (born December 16, 1978, in Caracas, Venezuela) is a model and actress.

Biography

Schneider was born into a Jewish family from Venezuela. She studied Computer Science at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Later, she entered the Giselles Models School in January 1998.

As Miss Monagas 1998, she competed in the Miss Venezuela 1998 pageant and was the first runner-up. In November of that year, she went to the Seychelles to compete in the Miss World 1998 pageant, where she did not make it to the semi-finals.

In 2002, Schneider turned to television and signed with Venevision. The first role she got was in the telenovela Mambo y Canela where she played the part of Wanda. In 2003, she was cast in the role of Marisela Ruiz Montero in the telenovela Enganada. In 2004, she went to Peru to play villain Fernanda Velacochea in the telenovela Besos Robados. In 2005, she signed with RCTV and played the role of Erika Hoffman in Amantes an early 20th-century production. In 2011 Schneider appeared in the telenovela La Viuda Joven, produced by Venevision. He is currently modeling and is the image of Grünenthal Venezuela. In 2012 she starred in La ratonera by Agatha Christie.

Her father Pablo Schneider (Maracay, 1949) is a composer, keyboardist and arranger. From an early age he manifests his musical talent showing a great mastery of the piano. At the beginning of the seventies he excelled as a composer of jingles, as well as for bringing musical spaces on both radio and television and participating as pianist and arranger of prestigious groups such as Syma and Sexta Posada de la Felicidad. He also recorded a duet with Baby Bell at 45 rpm Hallelujah for Freedom / With Faith in Heaven (1970) and with Vytas Brenner and Mafe another 45 rpm with the songs See me lord / Seeing Him Grow Up (1973). As soloist he debuted with the album Pablo Schneider (1972) obtaining great success with the subject Sweet awakening. Venezuelan artists of international prestige like José Luis Rodríguez and Pecos Kanvas interpret some of his compositions obtaining outstanding places in events like the Festival of the OTI. He keeps editing record productions and once again achieves a great success with the single Amor a ratos / Una noche mas (1979). Dedicated to the musical production and to impart new talents Venezuelans, returns to the record market with the album Pablo Vs. Pablo (2011).
