Vellinakshatram is a 1949 Malayalam-language[1] Indian feature film directed by Felix J. Beyse[2][3][4] starring Gayaka Peethambaram, Miss Kumari, Lalitha Devi, Alleppey Vincent, Kandiyoor Parameshwaran Pillai and Baby Girija. It was the first film produced at the Udaya Studios[5] and had music composed by B. A. Chidambaranath, who debuted with this film.[6]

Vellinakshatram is the 7th release among Malayalam language films.[1]

Not even a single frame from the footage of this film is available now. What is left of this film is the songs book.[7] The film was a miserable failure at the box office too.[8]
