Vatica pachyphylla is a species of flowering plant in the Dipterocarpaceae family.[1]

Distribution

Vatica pachyphylla is endemic to eastern Luzon island and Polillo Island in the northern Philippines.[1]

It is a tropical tree species found in the Luzon rainforest ecoregion. It is restricted to very low-altitude evergreen dipterocarp forest habitats of the ecoregion.[1]

It is a Critically endangered species threatened by habitat loss.[1]
