Vasile Mănăilă (born 22 November 1962 in Feteşti) is a Romanian football coach and a former player who played as a defender. He is currently managing the Under-19 team of FC Viitorul Constanța.[1]
Career
Club career
Playing as a youth for Farul Constanţa and making his professional debut as a 17-year-old at UTA Arad, Vasile returned to the Constanţa-based team in 1981, playing until the club's relegation to Divizia B.
In 1983, he moved to FC Universitatea Craiova, where he played eight seasons and won a Divizia A title and a Romanian Cup. He ended his career playing for Farul Constanţa, where he also began his coaching career as a youth coach.
International career
Vasile Mănăilă played in a single match for Romania national football team, a friendly against USA.
