Varinder Singh Ghuman

Varinder Singh Ghuman (Punjabi: ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਘੁਮਣ) is an Indian professional bodybuilder and Punjabi wrestler.[1][2][3] Ghuman has won Mr. India in 2009 and he was awarded 2nd place in Mr. Asia.[2] He appeared in Punjabi film Kabaddi Once Again as lead actor in 2012.[2][3] He has been roped in by Arnold Schwarzenegger for promoting his health products in Asia as his brand ambassdor.[2][3] He is a devout vegetarian, and has never touched egg or meat in his life. His diet includes Indian vegetarian food and milk dairy products. He started his career from the Indian Body Building Federation. He won Australian Grand Prix in 2011 and he won the Mr. Asia title in 2009. He is the first Indian in history to secure an IFBB professional bodybuilding card. He starred in Roar Tigers of Sunderbans that went to the Cannes Film Festival in 2014.

Early life

He was born in a village Talwandi in the border district of Gurdaspur Punjab. He is a great bodybuilder. His father Bhupinder Singh was an Asstt. Sub Inspector in the Punjab Police and his mother Late Smt. Harbhajan Kaur was a housewife. He resides current in Madison, Mississippi in the United States of America and in the posh Model House neighborhood in Jalandhar India where he also operates a gym. He met former model and actress Charlene Rhiana Roberts from Singapore in 2012 and married his long term girlfriend in 2017. Their children names are yet to be disclosed due the request and their mother Charlene. Ghuman travels prior to other countries for professional bodybuilding and film abroad as it continues. He had a his own death experience during the filmmaking of Roar Tigers of Sunderbans on the filmmaking set in 2012 through 2014 and prior to the death of the mother of Charlene. The death of Bernadette Maria Holland occurred in 2014 due to an automobile fan attack during the filmmaking of Roar Tigers of Sunderbans while she was outside doing yard work. The events occurred days before the film Roar Tigers of Sundarbans went to the Cannes Film Festival in 2014. The producer Late Abis Rizvi of the film Roar Tigers of Sundarbans death occurred on New Years Eve in 2016 entering 2017 due to a bomb attack in Turkey at a nightclub. The events lead to the filmmaking attachment to the film Roar Tigers of Sundarbans has made an undeniable impact within the film communities to today surrounding around the globe.
