Vaibhavi Shandilya is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Marathi and Tamil language films. After making her debut in the Marathi film Janiva (2015), she has been in films including Ekk Albela (2016) and Server Sundaram (2017).

Career

Vaibhavi made her acting debut in the Marathi film Janiva (2015), a tale on social justice, which was noted for marking the debut of actor Mahesh Manjrekar's son, Sathya.[1][2] She won critical acclaim for her second film Lord of Shingnapur, based on mythology, but like her first film, it did not receive positive reviews and went unnoticed at the box office.[3][4] Vaibhavi then featured amongst an ensemble cast including Vidya Balan in Bhagwan Dada's biopic, Ekk Albela (2016). Portraying a Muslim girl called Shaheen, it was Vaibhavi's first wide release and the film earned mixed reviews.[5][6]

In 2016, Vaibhavi signed on to appear in two Tamil language films opposite SanthanamServer Sundaram and Sakka Podu Podu Raja — both of which will have a theatrical release in 2017.[7][8]
