VIA optronics is a German-based company known for providing optical bonding solutions.[1][2]

History

VIA optronics was founded 2005 by Jürgen Eichner with its headquarters located in Altdorf, Germany.[3] The company is registered in Schwarzenbruck and has its 2 manufacturing sites in Europe (Mörsdorf) and Asia (Suzhou).[4]

In 2010, Alpina Partners (alias WHEB) purchased 55% share in VIA optronics.[5] In 2016, Alpina Partners sold all of its share in VIA.[6] Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. (IMI) from Philippines Ayala Corp. purchased 76% stake in VIA while the founder Mr. Eichner retained 24% ownership.[7][8]

VIA optronics currently has more than 450 employees worldwide with sales offices in Europe (Altdorf, Germany), North America (Orlando, Florida USA), China (Suzhou) and Asia (Taiwan).[9]

Products and services
