Værnes is a village area in the municipality of Stjørdal in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the western part of the municipality, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) southeast of the municipal center of Stjørdalshalsen and just northeast of the Stjørdalselva river delta. Hell and Lånke lie to the south, Prestmoen to the east, and Stjørdalshalsen to the north.
The area is a former army base and now the site of Trondheim Airport, Værnes, Trondheim Airport Station, Værnes Air Station, and Værnes Church.
