Unnikrishnan "Unni" Mukundan is an Indian film actor known for his work in Malayalam cinema.[1] He made his debut with the Tamil film, Seedan (2011), which was the remake of Nandanam (2002). He is known for films such as Bombay March 12 (2011), Mallu Singh (2012), Vikramadithyan (2014), KL10 Pathu (2015), Style (2016), Oru Murai Vandh Parthaya (2016), Telugu film, Janatha Garage (2016), Achayans (2017) and Avarude Ravukal (2016).

Personal life

Unni Mukundan was born in Thrissur, on September 22, 1987 as the son of Mukundan and Roji. He has an elder sister also. Even though he is a Keralite by birth, he was brought up in Gujarat.[2]

Acting career

In 2011, Unni made his film debut in Tamil film Seedan, a remake of the Malayalam film Nandanam.[3] Unni entered the Malayalam film industry through Bombay March 12[4] alongside Mammootty, directed by Babu Janardhanan. He played a supporting role in Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty, directed by T. K. Rajeev Kumar.[5][6][7] [8]
