University College of Engineering, Kariavattom (UCEK) is an engineering college run by the management of University of Kerala. The institute was established in the year 2000. The college lies in the Kariavattom campus of the university. Infrastructure facilities like water supply, hostels, canteen and play grounds are available on the campus. After the establishment of the Kerala Technological University, UCEK is the only college affiliated with University of Kerala. The college offers 4-year B.Tech degree in three areas namely, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology.
