Univerexport is a Serbian supermarket chain with headquarters in Novi Sad. It was founded on September 25, 1990 and at the beginning the main field of business was exclusively the import of consumer goods. Nowadays, its retail chain contains 132 stores.[2]
History
Univerexport was founded on September 25, 1990. Everything began within the family with only 4 employees. The history of this commercial chain is developing thanks to the great ideas and innovative choices confirmed by key dates in development of one of the most dominant commercial chains in the country. Jovanka and Bogdan Rodic created the driving force and fundamental energy. In the 1991, the development of giant began with the opening of the warehouse in Bajci Zilinskog Street in Novi Sad, then starting the wholesale and opening the first retail store.
