Union Township is one of thirteen townships in Parke County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,562 and it contained 1,451 housing units.[2]
History
The West Union Covered Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.[3]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.79 square miles (92.7 km2), of which 32.7 square miles (85 km2) (or 91.37%) is land and 3.09 square miles (8.0 km2) (or 8.63%) is water.[2]
