UNICOM Focal Point is a decision analysis tool used by corporations to collect feedback from stakeholders on the value of products and to prioritize which ones to focus on. The first version of Focal Point was released by Joachim Karlsson in 1997.[1] Focal Point was acquired by Telelogic on April 13, 2005. IBM Rational acquired Telelogic in April 2008,[2] and sold Focal Point to UNICOM Global on 1 January 2015.[3]
