Umvelinqangi

Umvelinqangi is a Zulu word for God. He has a voice like thunder and is known to send down lightning bolts. Umvelinqangi is two Zulu words which are; Mveli+Nqangi. Mveli means to appear/Exist/Begin/Origin, Nqangi means core or Centre. Put together, Mvelinqangi is Core of Existence or Centre of Origin. There's been a lot of misconceptions about the word, with one being that it means the one who appeared first, which is wrong.
