The Wych Elm cultivar Ulmus glabra 'Latifolia Aureo-Variegata' was first mentioned by Neubert in Deutsches Magazin für Garten- und Blumenkunde. 343. 1871.[1]
Description
Neubert described the tree as "a beautiful new variety with coloured ornamental leaves".[2]
Cultivation
A Wych Elm described as having large green leaves interwoven with gold fragments is sold in a nursery in Poland.[3]
