Ujire is a small town near Dharmasthala. It is situated in Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada district. Ujire is an important junction for travelers who travel in this region. The road at Ujire deviates to Dharmasthala (towards Hassan, Bangalore), Kottigehara (towards Horanadu, Chikmagalur) and Belthangady (towards Mangalore).
