Ubisoft Sao Paulo was a Brazilian video game developer and a subsidiary of Ubisoft, based in São Paulo. Founded in late July 2008, it was headed by Bertrand Chaverot, the managing director of Ubisoft's Brazilian sales office, until it was closed in 2010.

The studio was announced on 24 June 2008 for a planned opening with 20 employees, and sought to employ about 200 after a four-year lifespan.[1][2][3][4][5]

On 20 January 2009, it was announced that Ubisoft had acquired Porto Alegre-based Southlogic Studios, which became an operating subsidiary of Ubisoft Sao Paulo.[6][7][8]

On 29 September 2010, Ubisoft reported that, due to a declining market interest in Nintendo DS games, the operations in Brazil would be re-evaluated, and that the development facilities, Ubisoft Sao Paulo and Southlogic Studios, would be ramped down by the end of the year.[9][10]
