The University of Engineering and Technology, Rasul (Urdu: یونیورسٹی آف انجینیئرنگ اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی ، رسول) is a higher education institution located in Rasul, Mandi Bahauddin, Pakistan.
The university was established at Rasul, Punjab, Mandi Bahauddin District in 2014 on the initiative of the Chief Minister of the Punjab, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
All the activities are governed by the Vice-Chancellor and by staff of University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.

UET-Rasul offers Bachelor's degrees in the following Engineering and Technology Programs:

All seats for annual admission are filled on the basis of open merit. Entry testing is conducted by UET-Lahore and is a compulsory requirement for admission in the university.
Campus
The campus of UET Rasul is located on the premises of Government College of Technology, Rasul, District Mandi Bahauddin on 216 acres.
History
It was established in 1873 in Oriental College Lahore under the Punjab University by inducting only a surveyor class. In 1885, the class was shifted to Mayo School of Arts (now NCA) Lahore. In 1906 the School of Engineering was established in the same campus. When it was realized that the space for practical training was not sufficient there, it was shifted to its present campus at Rasul District. M. B. Din. Up to 1962, the institute was under the control of the PWD. In 1962 the institute was placed under the Technical Education Department and a 3-year diploma in Civil Technology was introduced. At that time the institute was named the Government School of Engineering. In 1972 it was upgraded to the College of Technology.
Since 1999 the institute has functioned under TEVTA.
The college has trained about 24,000 technical workers for Pakistan. In April 2014 the government of Punjab decided to upgrade the Government College of Technology, Rasul to the University of Engineering and Technology, Rasul.
General information
A public sector university launched on the initiative of the Government of Punjab. As an interim measure, all activities of UET-Rasul are managed by UET-Lahore.
In April, 2014, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, upgraded the college to University of Engineering and Technology, Rasul. The DAE programme will continue along with the engineering and technology degree programmes during 2014-2015.
The college is also an Entry Test Center. In Pakistan for undergraduate admissions, the national universities have common entrance tests which are SAT based and are held according to provincial zones, the private universities hold their own SAT based entrance test .
