UAA/APU Consortium Library
The UAA/APU Consortium Library is a joint library serving the University of Alaska Anchorage and Alaska Pacific University, established in 1973.[1] The library has approximately 930,000 volumes on site and average weekly visits to the building during the fall and spring semesters total approximately 12,000. The library has the furthest north permanent Foucault pendulum in the world.
A new addition to the library, that added 120,000 square feet (11,000 m2),[2] was completed in 2005.[3]
