Tyler Hill is a small village on the northern outskirts of Canterbury, Kent in England. The population is included in the civil parish of Hackington.
Geography
It has a rural setting being surrounded by fields and the Ancient Forest of Blean.
Economy
It is mainly a dormitory village for the City of Canterbury and for the nearby University of Kent.
Culture
The village has one pub, The Tyler's Kiln and is noted locally for its celebrations on Bonfire Night, which has the biggest bonfire in Kent and attracts upwards of 3,500 attendees every year. It is also known for its community hall and the celebrations that go on there.
