Twin Waters is a suburb of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, and forms part of the Maroochydore urban centre. It is located on the north bank of the Maroochy River. It was originally part of the suburb of Mudjimba and contains a significant canal estate. At the 2011 Australian Census the suburb recorded a population of 2,542.[1]
The southern boundary of Twin Waters is marked by the South Maroochy River. Part of the suburb is preserved within the Maroochy River Conservation Park. The parks was established in 1992, covers 174 hectares is managed primarily for nature conservation.[2]
