Turkish Regional Jet (TRJ) is an ongoing project to procure Turkey's first regional airplane. The project uses a modified version of the Dornier 328 (the intellectual property for which is owned by SNC), the TRJ-328 and TRJ-628.[1][2]

TRJ-328

TRJ-328 will be used as a test bed for the TRG-628 capacity is limited to 32 seats. The aircraft will fill direct and frequent flights to and from small cities in Turkey which are not currently possible with larger aircraft. The Project Will make it easier to intersect in Turkey for business or Recreational travel alike.[3]

TRJ-628

The TRJ-628 will features 60 to 70 seats and will be an overall larger airplane.[4]
