Tuğçe Melis Demir (born February 11, 1994) is a Turkish women's ice hockey player. Currently, she is a member of Milenyum Paten SK team playing as defenceman. She takes part in the Turkey women's national ice hockey team. She is 1.67 m (5 ft 5 12 in) tall at 65 kg (143 lb).[1]

Tuğçe Melis Demir was born in Ankara on February 11, 1994.[1]

Career

Club

She plays for Milenyum Paten SK in the Turkish Ice Hockey Women's League (TBHBL).[2] In the 2013–14 season, she enjoyed league championship.[3]

International

In 2011, she played at the Winter Universiade held in Erzurum, Turkey.[4][5] She was part of the national team at the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship Division II Group B qualification matches in Izmir, Turkey,[6] scoring a goal in the game against Ireland.[7] In March 2014, she was called up again for the national team.[2]
