Tra te e il mare (English: Between you and the sea) is the first single released in 2000 from Italian singer Laura Pausini's fourth album Tra te e il mare.

The song is translated in Spanish titled Entre tú y mil mares. The song was written and produced by Biagio Antonacci.

In 2013, the song was re-recorded with a new arrangement for Pausini's greatest hits album 20 - The Greatest Hits / 20 - Grandes Éxitos. In 2014, the song is re-recorded with the same arrangements, but this time as a duet with Spanish singer Melendi, for the Spanish edition's re-issue.
