The Toronto mayoral election, 2018 is scheduled for October 2018. The election will elect a new candidate, or re-elect John Tory as the mayor to the City of Toronto. Incumbent John Tory is expected to run for re-election. There are numerous other potential candidates including Doug Ford, 2014 mayoral election candidate and the brother of former mayor Rob Ford.^[1]
