Tonjua Harris Williams is an American academic and the current President of St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Biography
Tonjua Williams, a native of St. Petersburg, earned bachelors degrees from Clearwater Christian College, a masters degree in counselor education from the University of South Florida and doctor of philosophy in higher education administration from Barry University.
Williams' career in higher education spans 30 years, serving most recently as the Senior Vice President for Student Services until her presidential appointment on May 31, 2017. She previously held the positions of Provost (Tarpon Springs Campus), Associate Provost, and Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.
