Tom Gianas (born October 29, 1973) is an American comedy writer, director and producer. Gianas is best known for producing Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic and writing/directing on the MTV sketch comedy series that helped make Aziz Ansari a household name in Human Giant.
He has collaborated with and directed Bob Odenkirk, in productions such as Half My Face is A Clown and Jack Black in Tenacious D.
Tom was also a writer and Director on Saturday Night Live- he moved to New York with Adam McKay after Lorne Michaels hand-picked them from Second City. He collaborated with and directed Steve Carrell, Amy Sedaris, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell and Bob Odenkirk among many others.
Tom Gianas is the silent talent behind many productions. Writing for Michael Moore's series TV Nation. And Directing Michael Moore in London in his one man show.
Gianas worked as a writer and director on Nick Swardson's Pretend Time on Comedy Central, which he co-created with Nick Swardson.
