Tokyo Trading
The Tokyo Trading (jap. 東京貿易株式会社, Tōkyō bōeki kabushiki-gaisha; English: Tokyo Trading Co., Ltd.) is an import and export company of the automotive sector. The headquarters is in Katsushika, Tokyo, Japan. The company was founded shortly before the beginning of the Japanese financial crisis.
Tokyo Trading began its activities as an SKD assembler and was known under the name Tokyo Limited. The company is specialized in manufacturing special equipment as well as conversions of vehicles for a lot of Japanese car brands like Suzuki and Toyota. The Tokyo Trading equips the vehicles with their manufactured equipment and equips them to different limited and special model variants. It is installed according to specifications and orders of the respective brands. The company is an vehicle outfitter and not to be confused with a tuner. Tokyo Limited is using their own VIN. The first vehicle of the car assembler was the M2 1008 which was shown on the Tokyo Motor Show in 1993.
In the late 1999 the company expanded its activities to the import and export sector and is offering their retail services to companies and private clients.
