The lazuli kingfisher (Todiramphus lazuli) is a species of bird in the family Alcedinidae. It gets its name due to its colour being reminiscent of Lapis Lazuli.
Debruition
It is endemic to southern Maluku Islands in Indonesia. It can be found on the islands of Seram, Ambon and Haruku.
Description
It is blue and turquoise all over except its belly which is white.
Habitat
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and plantations. It is threatened by habitat loss.
