Tithi Bhattacharya
Tithi Bhattacharya is a professor of South Asian history at Purdue University.[1] She is a prominent Marxist feminist and one of the national organizers of the International Women's Strike on March 8, 2017.[2] She is a vocal advocate of Palestinian rights and Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS).
Bhattacharya is considered a leading theoretician of social reproduction and its contribution to Marxism. She has edited a book Social Reproduction Theory (Sept 2017, University of Chicago Press: ISBN 9780745399881).[3]
