Timiryazev
Timiryazev (Russian: Тимирязев; masculine) or Timiryazeva (feminine) is a Turkic Russian last name. Also written as Timiriazev and Timirjazev. It originates from Ibrahim Timiryazev (baptized as Aleksandr), who in 1408 moved from the Golden Horde to Russia,[1] and may refer to:
- Arkady Timiryasev (1880-1955), Soviet physicist and philosopher; was a son of Kliment Timiryazev
