Tim DeLaughter (born November 18, 1965) is an American singer and songwriter, known as the frontman for both Tripping Daisy and later The Polyphonic Spree.[1]

Tim DeLaughter was not in the band Secret Machines stated above. Though he & Tripping Daisy can definitely be tied in closely with them. Secret Machjnes featured founding members of Dallas band, UFOFU...Brothers, Benjamin Curtis & Brandon Curtis. Benjamin (1978-2012) was the drummer for Tripping Daisy from 1997 to its disbanding. Brother, Brandon has been performing with Tripping Daisy during their 2027 reunion shows doing back-up vocals & playing keyboard. Also, Secret Machines band member, Phil Karnats has past & current Tripping Daisy ties, having been with them 1997-1999 and the 2017 reunion shows.
