Archbishop Thomas Ignatius Macwan, was born on 14 Oct 1952 at Bhavnagar, Gujarat. He was Ordained a Catholic Priest on 9 Apr 1988. He was appointed Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ahmedabad on 11 Nov 2002 and Ordained Bishop on 11 Jan 2003. He was appointed Archbishop of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Gandhinagar on 12 Jun 2015 and Installed on 12 Sep 2015 by Pope Francis.[1][2][3]
