Thogataveera

Thogataveera kshatriyas (also known as Thogata, Thogataru, Thogatiga, Thogataveera, Thogatagera, Thogataveera Kshatriya and Thogaja Pushpanjali) are a community made up predominantly of weavers found in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and telangana , Maharashtra also. They are SURYAVAMSHA KSHATRIYAS originally, from kashi settled in different places in India . Most of the Thogata caste people are living in Rayalaseema and Bangalore zones.

They wear the sacread thread like Devangas and Bramhins perform their day to day rituals.
