Thelephantins are pigments found in the inedible mushroom Thelephora aurantiotincta. Three variants have been eluciated by high-resolution 2D NMR, MS, IR and UV spectra (Thelephantin A, B, C) as well as an acetylated congener from Thelephantin A [1] [2].
