The Silicone Veil is the fourth studio album by Norwegian singer-songwriter Susanne Sundfør. It was released 23 March 2012 in Norway to critical acclaim. It was released in the United Kingdom on 15 October. It was recorded at Pooka Studio and Kikitépe Tearoom Studio.[3] Three singles were released from the album, "White Foxes", "Among Us", and "The Silicone Veil". The video for "Among Us" was directed by Evan McNary. Sundfør chose the video as part of a competition by Genero.tv for fans to make a video for the single. It was premiered on the Vice subsite Noisey.[4] Jørgen Træen mixed the album.
