The Sheffield Private School is a British school located in Al Qusais, Dubai, UAE. It is run by the British National Curriculum and offers senior students the IGCSE, AS and A Level external examinations. The school does not publish any of its results.
The school is divided into two Sections: the Primary (Foundation Stage 1 to Year 6) and the Secondary School (Year 7 to Year 13). It is a fully co-educational school and does not segregate boys and girls at any stage.
School facilities
The school has three IT labs, three science labs, two music studios, a healthcare center, a library and two canteens with one cafeteria room.
For sports, the school has a large covered 5-lane swimming pool and a learner pool, a multi-purpose hall that contains facilities for volleyball, badminton and basketball as well as a performance quality gymnastic floor system. Covered netball courts and astro-turf football and hockey pitches are available outside to enhance the range of sports available to students in the school.[4]

The four houses compete against each other by collecting house-points and the winners are often awarded field trips.
Sports
The aim of sport at The Sheffield Private School is to provide as many opportunities as possible for all children of all abilities. Many pupils will represent the school in fixtures with other schools as well as compete in national and international events.[5]
The school holds two annual sports days: one for the primary students and one for the secondary. The three houses compete in different events such as running races (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m), long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin throw, discus throw, relay races, obstacle races among others. Medals and points are awarded to students who finish first, second or third in an event and in the end, the team with the most points is considered the winner.
Uniform
The TSPS uniform is an important part of the identity of the school and sets a consistent and high standard of dress code for the students. Jewelry isn't permitted except for watches andsmall stud earrings. Students from FS1 to Year 4 are expected to wear the short shirt with a green tartan collar and the green tartan Bermuda style shorts/skirt. For Year 5 to 6, students wear a white collar short shirt and maroon pants/skirt. This is the same for Years 7-9 but they are also required to wear the TSPS maroon tie. From Year 10 onward, the maroon skirt/pants are replaced with black ones. For Physical Education, the uniform is a white shirt with the students' respective house color on the shoulder along with maroon shorts.[6]
Philanthropy
Students are taught to give specially to those in worse conditions than themselves. Small events are held such as non-uniform days where students can participate if they donate to charity. The school also raises awareness for diseases and health issues such as breast cancer and diabetes. Students come dressed in pink during breast cancer awareness day and blue during diabetes awareness day to show their support for the cause.
KHDA inspection report
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) is an educational quality assurance authority based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It undertakes early learning, school and higher learning institution management and rates them as well.[7]
Student Council
The student council of the Sheffield Private School is a hard working group of people. The Head Boy of Secondary (Riyad Rharmili 11A) Head Girl of Secondary (Shahd Yasser 11D) Head Boy of Primary (Lesath Samarakone who is just 10 years old and acting like a boss, STOP) and Head Girl of Primary (Preet Katlar Das) work hard to achieve the goals of their fellow students with the help of the rest of the student council who are respected just the same, thrive hard to achieve the pupils expectations.
