The Relapse Symphony was an American rock band from Washington, DC. As of 2016, lead vocalist Bret Von Dehl expressed that the band has parted ways on good terms.

History

The Relapse Symphony began in 2012. They released their debut EP, Time's Running Out, in 2012. They released their debut full-length album, Shadows, in 2014 via StandBy Records. In December 2014, they released the Acoustic Sessions of "Shadows", and in June 2015, Born to Burn with the new lead guitarist, Ray Miller. They were on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour joined along with fill in drummer Tommy Roulette Vinton. They were on "The Other Side Tour" supporting New Years Day along with Get Scared, Eyes Set to Kill, and "Darksiderz"[3][4] On December 19, 2015 The Relapse Symphony held their first headlining show at The Canal Club in Richmond, Virginia.

Since the band split up, guitarist Ray Miller came out as transgender and now goes by Maxine Miller.

Departures

Tyler Gloyd left the band in 2014, with Alex Foxx switching from guitar to drums. Brandon Kile departed the band as its bassist in 2014. Drummer/guitarist Alex Foxx left in June 2015 due to personal conflicts.
