The Duff (novel)

The Duff is a young adult novel by Kody Keplinger.^[1] Keplinger was 17 when she wrote the novel, which was released on June 7, 2011.^{[2] [3]} A film based on the novel, also entitled The Duff, was released in 2015. The film was a success, and only had a budget of $8.5 million.^[4] A companion novel Lying Out Loud was released on April 28, 2015 and is set in the same world as The Duff.^[5]
