Influences
Speed described the ideas behind The Dreamer by saying that it came together in a relatively short time although its concepts have been with him for a very long time. "As I remember from when I was a little kid, I found out that the writer Roald Dahl used to get ideas and write them down on scraps of paper then stow them away in his desk drawer for a rainy day. This music is from my rainy day ideas that were stowed away then brought out and melded together to make this record." [1]
