Format

Prior to each challenge, host T. J. Lavin will announce to each contestant as to whether a challenge will be declared as either an individual, pair or team challenge. In the first episode, six players (three of each gender) are eliminated, and in a shocking twist, those six players are sent to the Redemption House, and have a chance to return to the actual game. Unbeknownst to each contestant, they will compete for a share of $1,000,000 — the largest monetary prize in Challenge history.[4]

Notes

  1. 1 2 3 4 5 Briana and CT entered the competition in Episode 2. Briana arrived as a replacement for Ashley, while CT's late arrival is the result of passport issues.[4]
  2. 1 2 3 4 Shane and Simone were disqualified from the competition in episode 2, following an incident in the Redemption house in which they got into a physical altercation with each other. Though this incident was not recorded, there was video evidence of the fight that permanently sent both contestants home.[5]
  3. 1 2 3 Before any challenges took place, Ashley quit the game when she became upset over not having her luggage in time for the first daily challenge as well as exhaustion from coming straight from physical hardship on Champs vs. Pros into filming season 30.[4]
  4. 1 2 Six players — Amanda, Devin, Darrell, LaToya, Shane and Simone — were eliminated at the end of the first challenge, but were sent to the Redemption house, with the possibility of returning to the actual competition.[4]
