Thaumatopsis floridella, the Floridian Grass-veneer, is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Barnes and McDunnough in 1913.[1] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from coastal areas in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina and South Carolina.[2] It is also found in Cuba.
The wingspan is 23-31 mm. Adults are on wing from May to September.
The larvae feed on Gramineae species.[3]
