Health

Thari Mirwah has Taluka hospital Rural Health Centre, Marie Stopes Society (MSS) clinic and other private clinics. The rural health centre does not meet the emergency rapid response capability; that needs to be upgradated by the Sindh government. Due to lack of education and religious beliefs about 30 children of the vicinity died from measles who were later brought for treatment at Taluka hospital Thari. Dr Qurban Sahito, Taluka hospital medical superintendent, commented that the people in far flung areas still adhere to old customs and beliefs of the Hindu mythology even though most of them are Muslims.[15]
