Tetuani (or Tétouani; Arabic: تطوانى; or Haketia) is a dialect of Judaeo-Spanish, a Jewish Romance language historically spoken by the North African Sephardim in the Algerian city of Oran.[1] The probable origin of the name is the city of Tétouan in Morocco, whence some of the Jewish residents came.
