Tetsuya Asano (浅野 哲也 Asano Tetsuya, born February 23, 1967) is a former Japanese footballer. He played for the Japanese national team.
Club career
He played in J1 League for eight season, being a central player for Nagoya Grampus Eight. He closed his career with FC Tokyo and Kawasaki Frontale. Retired at the age of 34, he chose to begin the adventure as a manager.
National team career
He can count on 8 caps and one goal with Japan national team between 1991 and 1994. He represented his country at 1994 Asian Games.
