A Terran is an inhabitant of the planet Earth. The term Terran can be used as an adjective to describing any person, place, or thing originating from Earth. Though the word is most particularly used to describe human beings on earth, it can be used to describe other species as well. The term comes from the Latin word terra, meaning earth.
