Tenali Rama is a folklore TV serial based on Telugu poet Tenali Ramakrishna from Tenali town in Andhra Pradesh. The serial aired on Sab TV from 11 July 2017. The show is produced by Abhimanyu Singh under the banner of Contiloe Productions.The show was made by film director T.S. Nagabharana[1] who was very popular in the Kannada film industry.[2]
Plot
Tenali Ramakrishna, fondly[3] remembered as Tenali Rama, was a 16th-century court poet at the Vijayanagara Empire in India. He hailed from a town called Tenali. He is remembered even today for his extraordinary wit, brilliance and wisdom.The show focuses on the relationship of Tenali with the King Krishnadevaraya and his fellow courtmen including Tathacharya,Mahamantri and Kotwal.
