Tehang is a large village in Phillaur tehsil of Jalandhar District of Punjab State, India. The village is administrated by Sarpanch who is the elected representative of village and it is located 3.2 km away from Nagar, 8.5 km from census town Apra, 43.5 km from Jalandhar and 120 km from state capital Chandigarh. Tehang has postal head office in Phillaur which is 7.4 km away from the village.[2]

The village has a Punjabi Medium, Co-educational Upper Primary with Secondary/Higher Secondary (GMS Tehand School). The school provide mid-day meal as per Indian Midday Meal Scheme and the meal prepared in school premises. The school was founded in 1968.[3]
