Technological University (Sagaing) (Burmese: နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ် (စစ်ကိုင်း)) was initially established as Technical High School on 17 September 1990. On 1 December 1998, it was upgraded to Government Technical Institute. After that, G.T.I was enhanced to the stage of Government Technological College on 20 January 2007. And then, G.T.C had been enhanced to Technological University on 23 February 2012.[1]
